 | Modernism is one of the most influential and interesting disciplines in the history of the European art. Amidst the industrialization of Spain and Catalonia in particular, Modernism has left a very significant footprint in every art form. From music to the painting,from graphic arts to architecture and from poetry to theatre, the phenomenon of Modernism left no social sector or expression method indifferent.
After diverse interpretations, this exhibition aims to explore Modernism from a historical point of view and to centralize it as influential to drawing, sculpture and architecture. It focuses and emphasizes the importance of Antoni Gaudí, Julio and Joan González and of course the impact and global influence of Pablo Picasso.
