 | The central idea of the project is as the title suggests, gold in all of its meanings and uses, gold as a symbol of wealth, as value, as beauty and as purity… The exhibition is an ironic criticism of the false appearances, commercialism, hypocrisy, the disguise of violence, contamination etc.
These superficialities are filtered through the artist’s point of view and expresses through the use of various materials, such as paper, trinket and scrap, reinforcing the messages of value, justification and prestige.
