The Comunidad Valencia has hundreds of kilometres coastline along the Mediterranean filled with a lot of beaches. Many of those beaches have been rewarded with a “Blue Flag”, which means that those beaches have excellent environmental conditions and services. Every year the Comunidad Valencia is one of the most awarded regions in Europe.

Yearly thousands of tourists come to the Comunidad Valencia to spend their holiday on one of the beaches of the Costa del Azahar, Valencia Terra i Mar or the Costa Blanca. , Because of their nice beaches and exciting nightlife, Denia and Benidorm are two of the most popular holiday destinations in Europe.

The sea front of Valencia is divided in two by a modern port separating north from south. On the north of the port you will find the popular beaches of Malvarrosa, Cabañal and Las Arenas. On the south side the more quiet beach of Pinedo stretches out to the beaches of El Saler and Devesa.

Costa del Azahar (the orange-blossom coast)
Located in the northern part of the Comunidad Valencia is the Costa del Azahar which thanks its name to the many orange groves along the coast in that region. The coastline of the Costa del Azahar reaches about 110 km with beautiful beaches varied with rocky bays. Popular beaches on the Costa Azahar are those of Benicasim and Peñíscola.

Valencia Terra i Mar
Valencia Terra i Mar covers the land between the Costa del Azahar and the Costa Blanca with the city of Valencia located in the middle of it. Travelling north from Valencia (to the Costa del Azahar) you will come across the beaches of Alboraya, El Puig and Sagunto. When you are travelling south from Valencia (to the Costa Blanca) you will come across the beaches of Sueca, Cullera and Gandia.

Costa Blanca
Located in the southern part of the Comunidad Valencia is the Costa Blanca, which means “White Coast”. The coastline of the Costa Blanca reaches about 160 km full of beautiful white beaches and sheltered bays. Popular beaches of the Costa Blanca are those of Benidorm, Denia and Altea.
