In Spain people normally have dinner quite late. Afterwards they meet with their friends in a bar and later on they go clubbing. Valencia is no exception! Naturally there are lots of places where you can find something to eat whilst you are out. Lots of bars serve tapas with your drink to stop you from going somewhere else to have dinner. The restaurants serve the last dinners around 23h00 and they normally stay active and busy until 1h00 in the morning.
Kebabs in Valencia
Thanks to the big concentration of bars and pubs in the Barrio del Carme, you can find lots of places where you can have something to eat until late. The number and the popularity of kebab and fast food outlets is constantly increasing, even if they have to close at 3h in the morning, but at this hour it can be fun to find somewhere to finish the night.
The “churros” in Valencia
Chocolate “churros” are a Spanish speciality, especially popular after a long fiesta night in town. Churros are long sticks made of flour and eggs and fried in hot oil. They are even better covered with chocolate or sugar. Bars and cafes which sell churros usually remain opened until the daybreak so you won’t have to go to your house to fill up your stomach.
